Basak Koklukaya (born April 19, 1974) is a Turkish actress. She graduated from Bilkent University, Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, Department of Theater at Hacettepe University, Ankara State Conservatory. In 1995, he began working in the city’s theaters. She has appeared in more than 20 films and television series since 1989. She starred in Confession, which was shown in the Look What award section at the 2002 Cannes Film Festival.

Getting started with acting
Her first television experience was with the series Summer Residents, then she got her first cinematic experience with Turkish director Ferzan Ozbek, and thanks to him she won the “Best Emerging Actress” award at the Ankara International Film Festival.

She started working on the Summermen TV series in 1995 and then starred in “Baladna.” Ferzan Ozpetak’s “Hamam” was her first feature film with this film, which won the “Best Actress” award.
